Legend Paddles has a long rich history within the kayaking and multisport community. The company has been manufacturing high-end composite paddles for nearly three decades. Many of the foundations used in production processes today have been developed and pioneered by Legend Paddles. We were the first company in New Zealand to start producing a true full carbon blade. In 2009 we started manufacturing blades using double basis carbon with a goal of making our paddles even stronger. We continue to research and develop our production processes, carefully testing new ideas and technology. We are industry leaders in New Zealand paddle manufacturing and our high standards are enjoyed all around the globe.
Our paddles have a long list of titles to their credit. Speight’s Coast to Coast victors include Steve Gurney, Richard Ussher, Emily Miazga, Fleur Pawsey, Keith Murray, Andrea Murray, Jill Westenra, Kristina Anglem, Elina Ussher and John Jacoby to name a few. Multiple world champion titles, national sprint, surf and marathon titles have been won with our brand. We are very proud to be supporting this sport in New Zealand.
